Many of the most prestigious universities in England<\/a> have excellent postgraduate programs as well. Many people will do their bachelor\u2019s work in their native country and then travel to England in order to finish their degrees, especially if they are receiving degrees in English, History, business, or medicine. England is known for their quality education and their devotion to pushing the minds of their students to their fullest potential.<\/p>\n

In England, at the post graduate level, there are several different types of degrees and certificates that you can obtain during your studies. Here are the types of post graduate degrees that you may pursue.<\/p>\n

\"\"Master\u2019s Degrees<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Master\u2019s degrees are offered in England at both the graduate and the undergraduate levels. Undergraduate Master\u2019s Degrees are done in conjunction with a bachelor\u2019s degree, and take a total of 4 years. Postgraduate Master\u2019s Degrees are taken after an undergraduate degree has been completed, and take approximately a year to complete. Here are some (but not all) of the different Master\u2019s degrees that you can obtain while studying in England; the university which you are considering will determine which of these degree programs are offered.<\/p>\n

  • Ancient History<\/li>\n
  • Philosophy<\/li>\n
  • Anthropology<\/li>\n
  • Theology or Religion<\/li>\n
  • Medical fields (all types)<\/li>\n
  • Arts (Film, music, fine art)<\/li>\n
  • English (literature, linguistics, etc)<\/li>\n
  • History (of any type)<\/li>\n
  • Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Astronomy, etc)<\/li>\n
  • Law<\/li>\n
  • Education<\/li>\n
  • Any language<\/li>\n
  • Social Sciences (sociology, psychology)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As mentioned above, postgraduate Master\u2019s Degrees only take about a year, unless you are performing research as part of your Master\u2019s program (then it may take you 18 months to 2 years). Master\u2019s degrees give you the opportunity to continue the studies that you started in your Bachelor\u2019s program, but with the ability to focus on the aspects of that degree that you are truly interested in. Having your Master\u2019s degree shows that you have a higher understanding of your area of expertise. Many people will pursue their Master\u2019s Degree in England, because they wish to get a different world view and because of the expertise that is available in many of England\u2019s Universities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
