 The Strathclyde Executive MBA

The Strathclyde Executive MBA is being promoted and delivered for more than 25 years in Athens, Greece by International Management Studies. International Management Studies (IMS) is the University’s Greek branch. IMS College  provides local administrative services as well as seminars and examinations. SBS provides core teaching materials and sends Strathclyde University faculty members to Greece to run intensive seminars.

The program is launched with a very strong focus on Leadership/Coaching/Personal Development Plan, as well as a Strategic Leadership Challenge. This is followed by regular two or three day seminars (about twice a month, on a weekend and one evening per week). Participants are required to complete a range of preparatory tasks and readings both from published materials and materials specially commissioned by Strathclyde Business School before seminars. In each subject, the seminars are led by faculty from the University of Strathclyde Business School, supported by Local Counselors and Global Practitioners, and will focus on the key theories, principles, case studies, and practical applications of the area under discussion. Finally, the capstone project which leads to the MBA award consists of either a research dissertation, an entrepreneurial or consultancy projects, which can be directly selected from the real corporate world.
